Description

  • Set the venture direction by refining the ideal customer profile, pricing model, and product positioning.
  • Lead customer development by running pilots with CPA firm decision-makers and converting them into paid engagements.
  • Build a referral-led go-to-market motion for small-to-mid CPA firms.
  • Partner with FutureSight’s product and engineering team to ship the first version of the product and iterate based on user feedback.
  • Lead the seed fundraising process with support from FutureSight’s network and early traction.
  • Recruit, lead, and retain the founding team.
  • Establish the company’s culture and operating foundation.
  • Work closely with the FutureSight studio team in a true co-creation model as the company’s CEO.

Requirements

  • Previous founding experience at a venture-backed company.
  • Demonstrated success in B2B AI or B2B SaaS go-to-market, including consultative, relationship-driven sales and customer engagement.
  • Fundraising fluency, including the ability to develop investor narratives and close capital.
  • Proven ability to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
  • Deep accounting domain expertise with hands-on experience in close processes, tax preparation, workpapers, and client accounting services within CPA firms.
  • Clear-eyed understanding of the risks and demands of co-founding a venture-backed company.
  • Experience working with managing partners, CAS leads, and outsourced accounting or BPO operators is highly relevant.
  • Ability to lead pilots and customer conversations in a complex, relationship-driven market.
  • No salaried executive structure; this is a co-founder partnership with meaningful founder equity.
  • Resume, LinkedIn profile, and a brief founder-fit note are requested as part of the application.
