Description

  • Ship product features in the FutureSearch app.
  • Extend the pipelines and infrastructure behind forecasting benchmarks.
  • Investigate and resolve production issues, including agent timeouts under load.
  • Own systems end to end, including design, deployment, monitoring, and debugging.
  • Turn rough research ideas into working prototypes and hardened productized tools.
  • Build and verify work through coding agents and LLM-based development workflows.
  • Collaborate on research, evaluation, and training work with frontier labs.
  • Work within a small team and independently drive projects to completion.

Requirements

  • Experience owning production backend systems end to end, including deployment, monitoring, and debugging.
  • Experience building on LLM APIs and working daily with coding agents like Claude Code.
  • Strong instincts for evaluating when coding agent output is incorrect.
  • Ability to learn and work with Python on GCP and Azure.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Ray, Postgres, ClickHouse, and Dagster, or ability to pick them up quickly.
  • Research experience in academia or industry is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to read papers and prototype ideas from them.
  • Strong interest in AI and improving AI epistemics.
  • Comfort working quickly and building products you actively use.
