Description

  • Contribute to the development, architecture, and ongoing maintenance of Polycentric's mobile and web applications.
  • Design and implement new features and product enhancements in collaboration with a distributed team.
  • Participate in technical discussions that shape system design and frontend architecture.
  • Engage with and contribute to the wider open-source community around Polycentric.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with React Native in a production environment.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously in a remote, asynchronous team.
  • Solid understanding of modern application architecture and state management.
  • Interest in decentralized systems and emerging technologies.
  • Familiarity with cryptographic concepts such as signing, verification, and key management.
  • Experience with Rust in production systems (desirable).
  • Knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL and query optimization (desirable).
  • Experience with search/indexing technologies such as Elasticsearch or OpenSearch (desirable).
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and deployment workflows (desirable).
