Description

  • Design, build, and ship a high-performance cross-platform mobile app for iOS and Android from scratch using React Native, Expo, and TypeScript.
  • Collaborate with backend engineers to define REST and GraphQL API contracts and support secure authentication and data synchronization.
  • Implement deep linking, push notifications, user account management, and in-app payment flows.
  • Build interactive, media-heavy mobile features including image handling, mobile editors, and real-time data updates.
  • Own the full release process, including versioning, signing, provisioning, and store submission workflows.
  • Set up and manage Fastlane and EAS Build pipelines for mobile releases.
  • Navigate App Store and Google Play review requirements and compliance.
  • Implement analytics, monitor crashes, and optimize app size and runtime performance.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional mobile app development experience with proven production deployments.
  • Deep production-level expertise in React Native, ideally with Expo, and TypeScript.
  • Personally built and shipped live apps available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store; live store links are required.
  • Strong experience with REST/GraphQL API integration, complex state management, offline data handling, and local storage.
  • Hands-on experience with push notifications (FCM/APNs), deep linking, and native build tooling such as Xcode and Android Studio.
  • Practical experience with in-app purchases, Apple Pay, or Google Pay, plus CI/CD workflows such as EAS Build, Fastlane, or App Center.
  • Professional working proficiency in English, written and spoken.
  • Comfort making independent architectural decisions in a remote team setting.
  • Experience with real-time data webhooks or WebSocket architecture on mobile devices is preferred.
  • Strong eye for mobile UX conventions and native interaction patterns is preferred.
