Description

  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual GAAP financial reporting and analysis.
  • Prepare financial reports and presentations for executives, the board, and investors.
  • Manage the annual audit and serve as the primary external-auditor stakeholder.
  • Supervise and mentor the Accounting Manager and 1–2 accounting staff members.
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, M/Q/A accounting, reporting, and payroll approvals.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Lead tax compliance, including sales and income taxes, and manage relationships with tax advisors and Avalara.
  • Manage treasury operations, cash projections, liquidity, and returns on excess cash.
  • Lead accounting team, records, and software integration for acquisitions.
  • Own finance systems, automation, budgeting support, financial planning, and continuous process improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Active or inactive CPA license.
  • 7+ years of accounting experience with demonstrated career progression.
  • Public accounting experience strongly preferred.
  • SaaS industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Experience with QBO, Chargebee, Chargebee RevRec, Teampay, Avalara, or FloQast preferred.
  • Ability to travel 0–10%.
  • Remote work eligibility within the U.S.; Tampa Bay candidates should be able to commute to Odessa, Florida, 1–2 days per week.
  • Self-directed, collaborative approach with a willingness to own projects and solve problems hands-on.
