Description

  • Serve as a senior leadership team member and provide financial guidance on major business decisions, including geographic expansion, M&A, and product pivots.
  • Lead preparation and presentation of financial narratives for the Board of Directors and external investors.
  • Oversee the Annual Operating Plan and long-range planning to align financial strategy with the company’s 3-5 year roadmap.
  • Transform FP&A into a predictive function that supports decision-making and business forecasting.
  • Partner with the Executive Leadership Team to optimize growth economics across marketing, product, customer, and sales productivity.
  • Lead cash management and financial infrastructure improvements to support the company’s path to $200M+ in revenue.
  • Manage and develop a team of 8 across Accounting, FP&A, and Strategic Finance.
  • Mentor directors and managers while fostering accountability and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of progressive finance experience.
  • At least 5 years in a high-impact leadership role in a venture-backed or private equity-backed environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
  • MBA or CPA highly preferred.
  • Mastery of US GAAP.
  • Deep expertise in SaaS metrics and complex financial modeling.
  • Experience with consumption-based business models is highly preferred.
  • Experience transitioning finance operations from startup tools such as QuickBooks or Mosaic to scale-up systems such as NetSuite, Campfire, or similar.
  • Proven ability to identify business drivers and risks beyond the P&L.
  • Track record of mentoring directors and managers and building a culture of high accountability.

  • Hybrid schedule with 2 days onsite per week in Brooklyn, NY.
