Description

  • Help product teams define and improve testing strategies across unit, integration, and end-to-end levels.
  • Review test scenarios, automated tests, and quality-related technical decisions across teams.
  • Analyze defects, flaky tests, and test results to identify root causes and areas for improvement.
  • Drive quality improvements based on metrics and recurring issues (e.g., flaky rate, CI performance).
  • Support teams in building reliable and scalable test automation and ensure it integrates well with CI.
  • Contribute to shared test frameworks, helpers, and tooling used across product teams.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and QA engineers to embed quality practices in development workflows.
  • Educate, mentor, and run trainings/workshops to raise testing and automation skills across teams.
  • Ensure test automation does not negatively impact CI performance and help optimize CI efficiency.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience testing web client-server applications.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in test automation, including writing E2E and integration tests.
  • Proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Understanding of frontend architecture (React) and backend architecture (Node.js / NestJS).
  • Experience developing or maintaining test frameworks and shared testing tooling.
  • Strong understanding of testing levels (unit, integration, E2E) and experience defining test strategy and writing test scenarios.
  • Experience reviewing automated tests (code review) and working with CI/CD systems (Jenkins or similar).
  • Experience with Docker (images, networks, volumes, docker-compose).
  • Strong communication skills, ability to influence quality through processes (not only code), and an ownership mindset.
  • Nice-to-have: experience introducing testing/automation processes, working with quality metrics (flaky rate, coverage, CI performance), reducing flaky tests and optimizing CI, conducting trainings/workshops, and working across multiple product teams.
