Description

  • Build and lead the Lab function while personally owning 1–2 high-leverage bets.
  • Own the Lab bet portfolio, including opportunity sizing, entry and exit criteria, and scale/iterate/kill decisions.
  • Frame experiments around the riskiest assumption and define kill criteria before building.
  • Choose the appropriate experiment format, such as prototypes, spikes, wizard-of-oz tests, no-code builds, or live pilots.
  • Synthesize experiment results into clear recommendations and decision memos.
  • Prepare validated hypotheses, evidence packs, risks, and scaling proposals for bets ready to hand off to Core or New Products.
  • Source and close lighthouse pilots, define scopes and metrics, and support business validation with partners.
  • Build a repeatable Lab operating system, including pipeline reviews, kill reviews, demo days, and post-mortems.
  • Use AI tools to accelerate research, synthesis, prototyping, and evaluation of AI-enabled product ideas.

Requirements

  • 8–10+ years of product experience with a proven 0→1 track record.
  • Experience personally owning multiple high-risk bets with explicit go/kill decisions.
  • 3+ years of experience managing product managers in a player-coach or group lead capacity.
  • Fluency across validation tools including discovery, prototypes, and engineered MVPs, with judgment on when each is appropriate.
  • Cross-functional leadership experience across engineering, design, analytics, and GTM teams.
  • Comfort working in pre-sales and pilot settings, with real downside risk and fast learning cycles.
  • Hands-on experience using AI as a product-building and exploration tool.
  • Ability to prototype with LLMs, APIs, or modern tooling and ship a functional prototype quickly.
  • Ability to scope AI experiments realistically and evaluate build vs. buy vs. partner decisions.
  • Preferred background from founder/co-founder roles, early-stage startups, internal labs, innovation teams, or new market bets inside larger companies.
  • Preferred experience in payments, fintech, e-commerce, or nonprofit domains.
  • Preferred familiarity with EU market regulations and norms, including PSD2/SCA, data/privacy, and additional languages.
  • Must be fluent in English and Russian.
  • Location is Georgia with remote work and core hours of 9:00–18:00 CET.
