Description

  • Define and execute the product roadmap for Browser Monitoring in partnership with product leadership.
  • Lead product strategy for front-end application observability and help position New Relic as a leader in digital experience monitoring.
  • Partner with Engineering and Design to deliver high-impact features and balance technical debt with new product bets.
  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert for browser observability and support go-to-market teams.
  • Speak at marketing and industry events and contribute thought leadership and go-to-market content.
  • Maintain an ongoing feedback loop with enterprise customers and account teams to identify customer pain points and opportunities.
  • Align the Browser Monitoring roadmap with New Relic platform strategy and integrate it with APM and other observability products.
  • Track the competitive landscape and the OpenTelemetry ecosystem to keep browser instrumentation compatible and data-rich.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of product management experience.
  • At least 4 years of experience in observability, APM, or digital experience monitoring.
  • Strong technical understanding of modern front-end development, including JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, and Vue.
  • Familiarity with browser rendering lifecycles and the DOM.
  • Proven ability to explain complex technical concepts in value-based language for executive audiences.
  • Ability to discuss technical details credibly with senior software engineers.
  • Experience using analytical data to inform roadmap decisions and address product adoption challenges.
  • Experience leading cross-functionally without formal authority in a fast-paced, distributed environment.
  • Experience contributing to or managing OpenTelemetry web instrumentation projects (preferred).
  • Prior experience as a front-end or full-stack engineer (preferred).
  • Deep understanding of Google Core Web Vitals and their impact on SEO and business outcomes (preferred).
  • Master’s degree in business or a technical field (preferred).
