Description

  • Define and drive product strategy for GitLab's AI agent orchestration platform.
  • Partner with Engineering and Design to identify opportunities, prioritize investments, and guide delivery.
  • Translate technical areas such as agent context, agent memory, and background agent behavior into product requirements and roadmap decisions.
  • Align platform direction with broader GitLab AI initiatives and support a range of use cases.
  • Use product management best practices to lead discovery, clarify problem statements, and build shared understanding.
  • Communicate product vision, priorities, and decisions to cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Bring structure to ambiguity and help shape AI-native platform capabilities.
  • Focus early efforts on clarifying the product vision for the orchestration layer and driving platform foundations.

Requirements

  • Deep experience in product management, including ownership of complex technical products or platforms from early definition through iteration and delivery.
  • Previous agentic AI product management experience.
  • Strong familiarity with AI orchestration, agent memory, agent context, and related platform concepts.
  • Strong product judgment and comfort working in ambiguous, fast-evolving environments.
  • Experience partnering with technical teams to shape platform products and translate system behavior into clear priorities and requirements.
  • Ability to think strategically about platform design while staying close to execution details.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for explaining technical AI concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • A structured approach to product discovery, prioritization, and decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, adapt decisions as AI capabilities evolve, and stay current with the AI landscape.
  • Open to candidates with varying levels of experience; applicants do not need to meet every requirement to apply.
