Description

  • Stand up and lead a new cross-functional engineering pod focused on Fullscript’s growth in Canada.
  • Define the team’s mission, ownership boundaries, roadmap, and execution model.
  • Partner with Product, Design, Data, Finance, Operations, and commercial stakeholders to turn Canada strategy into a delivery plan.
  • Lead delivery of features and workflows that increase Canadian revenue, reduce US-versus-Canada product gaps, and localize high-value capabilities.
  • Guide technical decisions across shared systems, business logic, workflows, and operational processes to keep solutions scalable and maintainable.
  • Build engineering practices around ownership, planning, quality, instrumentation, and execution.
  • Hire, coach, and develop the engineering team.
  • Use business outcomes, customer friction, and operational realities to set priorities and measure impact.
  • Help the team learn quickly from shipped work and iterate based on results.

Requirements

  • Experience leading software engineers in a product engineering environment, including setting expectations, giving feedback, supporting growth, and addressing performance concerns.
  • Strong technical judgment and the ability to contribute to architecture, system design, and delivery planning.
  • Track record of partnering effectively with Product, Design, Data, and business stakeholders.
  • Experience helping launch, adapt, or scale products in new markets, regions, or operational contexts.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguous environments and creating structure where none exists.
  • Ability to balance speed, iteration, and experimentation with reliability and sound engineering practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with localization, market expansion, or regional rollout of shared platform capabilities (nice to have).
  • Familiarity with experimentation, instrumentation, and outcome-based product development (nice to have).
  • Experience in healthcare, health tech, or other trust-sensitive domains (nice to have).
