Description

Define and execute the technical vision, architecture, and roadmap for multiple engineering teams.
Lead, mentor, and scale engineering teams, managers, and technical leaders.
Establish engineering best practices for security, performance, observability, and maintainability.
Support platform growth while maintaining system reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
Collaborate with executives to align engineering priorities with business objectives.
Bridge infrastructure and product engineering to improve developer productivity and technical execution.
Manage technical debt and drive continuous improvement through launches and retrospectives.
Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, collaboration, and learning.
Forecast work, communicate progress, manage risk, and adapt plans as needed.

Requirements

Experience leading engineering teams that build customer-facing applications at scale.
Strong track record of growing and mentoring technical leaders and senior engineers.
Proven ability to collaborate across engineering, product, design, and data teams.
Ability to own team outcomes end-to-end while balancing delivery, quality, and long-term technical health.
Broad technical fluency across the team’s domain, with the ability to participate in design discussions and guide technical decisions.
Strong execution skills with the ability to forecast work, communicate progress, manage risk, and adjust plans.
Experience working in a strategic and hands-on leadership role.
Preferred experience in developer infrastructure, system reliability, or scalability-focused environments.
