Description

  • Define and execute the technical vision, architecture, and roadmap for multiple engineering teams.
  • Lead, mentor, and scale engineering teams, managers, and technical leaders.
  • Establish engineering best practices for security, performance, observability, and maintainability.
  • Support platform growth while maintaining system reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with executives to align engineering priorities with business objectives.
  • Bridge infrastructure and product engineering to improve developer productivity and technical execution.
  • Manage technical debt and drive continuous improvement through launches and retrospectives.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, collaboration, and learning.
  • Forecast work, communicate progress, manage risk, and adapt plans as needed.

Requirements

  • Experience leading engineering teams that build customer-facing applications at scale.
  • Strong track record of growing and mentoring technical leaders and senior engineers.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across engineering, product, design, and data teams.
  • Ability to own team outcomes end-to-end while balancing delivery, quality, and long-term technical health.
  • Broad technical fluency across the team’s domain, with the ability to participate in design discussions and guide technical decisions.
  • Strong execution skills with the ability to forecast work, communicate progress, manage risk, and adjust plans.
  • Experience working in a strategic and hands-on leadership role.
  • Preferred experience in developer infrastructure, system reliability, or scalability-focused environments.
