Description

  • Administer and maintain ServiceNow ITAM, ITOM, Service Catalog, and related platform capabilities.
  • Develop SOPs for ITAM and catalog processes and deliver recurring cross-training to the internal ServiceNow team.
  • Track purchase orders and contracts, including record maintenance, reconciliation, reporting, and data-quality reviews.
  • Create, configure, test, publish, and maintain catalog items, record producers, variables, approvals, and fulfillment workflows.
  • Manage hardware and software assets throughout their lifecycle, from receiving and assignment through retirement and disposal.
  • Partner with stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, prioritize requests, and recommend ServiceNow solutions.
  • Maintain reports, dashboards, procedures, and administrative documentation.
  • Troubleshoot incidents, requests, platform issues, and data problems, escalating complex issues when necessary.
  • Maintain and validate CMDB and ITOM records; analyze configuration, event, alert, service, and asset data for quality issues.
  • Support Discovery, Service Mapping, integrations, automation, design reviews, testing, deployments, upgrades, performance analysis, and security hardening as authorized by platform governance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent experience may substitute.
  • 3+ years of ServiceNow administration, platform analysis, or implementation experience supporting ITAM, ITOM, CMDB, Service Catalog, or asset management.
  • Working knowledge of ServiceNow data models, roles, access controls, workflows, reporting, imports, update sets, and platform administration.
  • SME-level experience architecting and implementing ServiceNow HAM and SAM workflows, with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to gather requirements, document processes, analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and communicate with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Preferred experience with Discovery, Service Mapping, MID Servers, integrations, scripting, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, APIs, and CMDB identification and reconciliation.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification required; ITAM, ITOM, CMDB, Discovery, or Service Mapping certifications are preferred.
  • DoD 8140 IAT Level II baseline certification, such as CompTIA Security+, required at hire.
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance required.
