Description

Architect, build, and maintain highly scalable, high-throughput data pipelines and infrastructure.
Optimize data delivery pipelines for performance, reliability, and scalability.
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and data architects to design solutions for evolving business and data needs.
Automate data processes to reduce manual effort and improve engineering efficiency.
Establish and enforce best practices for data quality, governance, security, and compliance.
Implement automated frameworks for data cleaning, validation, correction, and enrichment.
Identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement in data engineering processes and scalability standards.
Support advanced analytics and machine learning use cases with reliable data infrastructure.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
Influence broader data platform strategy and technical direction.

Requirements

6+ years of professional experience in data engineering.
Proven track record leading large-scale, complex projects.
Deep expertise with modern cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
Advanced SQL skills and strong experience with relational and columnar database systems.
Experience with data pipeline and workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow, Dagster, or Luigi.
Strong programming background in Python, Scala, or Java for data processing and automation.
Experience in backend development with proficiency in TypeScript, Java, Python, Node.js, and SQL-based RDBMS such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
Experience designing data models and schemas for operational and analytical use cases.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
Familiarity with healthcare data standards such as FHIR and HL7, or other regulated data domains, is a plus.

Benefits

Base salary range of $150,000 to $200,000 per year.
