Description

  • Architect, build, and maintain highly scalable, high-throughput data pipelines and infrastructure.
  • Optimize data delivery pipelines for performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and data architects to design solutions for evolving business and data needs.
  • Automate data processes to reduce manual effort and improve engineering efficiency.
  • Establish and enforce best practices for data quality, governance, security, and compliance.
  • Implement automated frameworks for data cleaning, validation, correction, and enrichment.
  • Identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement in data engineering processes and scalability standards.
  • Support advanced analytics and machine learning use cases with reliable data infrastructure.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
  • Influence broader data platform strategy and technical direction.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional experience in data engineering.
  • Proven track record leading large-scale, complex projects.
  • Deep expertise with modern cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
  • Advanced SQL skills and strong experience with relational and columnar database systems.
  • Experience with data pipeline and workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow, Dagster, or Luigi.
  • Strong programming background in Python, Scala, or Java for data processing and automation.
  • Experience in backend development with proficiency in TypeScript, Java, Python, Node.js, and SQL-based RDBMS such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
  • Experience designing data models and schemas for operational and analytical use cases.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
  • Familiarity with healthcare data standards such as FHIR and HL7, or other regulated data domains, is a plus.
