Description

  • Design and develop end-to-end data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, Logic Apps, and related services.
  • Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows, data lakes, warehouses, and models across structured and unstructured sources.
  • Develop big data transformations and real-time integrations using Databricks, Event Hubs, Kafka, or Azure Stream Analytics.
  • Optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, DAX measures, and Power BI performance across large datasets.
  • Lead Power BI architecture, administration, and scalable semantic model development.
  • Implement data governance, security, compliance, monitoring, logging, and CI/CD processes.
  • Partner with internal teams to support sustainability, carbon neutrality, and compliance with banking regulations.
  • Identify operational efficiencies, solve data problems, and deliver measurable results to organizational stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of overall IT experience focused on data engineering; banking or financial services experience is preferred.
  • Expertise with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL, and Azure Data Lake.
  • Hands-on Azure Databricks experience with PySpark, Python, or Scala.
  • Strong SQL, performance tuning, and query optimization skills.
  • Experience with big data platforms, distributed systems, streaming, and real-time data solutions.
  • Experience with Power BI, semantic modeling, DAX, and enterprise reporting.
  • Knowledge of data governance, security controls, CI/CD, Azure DevOps, Git, ARM Templates, or Terraform.
  • Knowledge of banking products, financial services, applicable regulations, and business operations is required.
  • Strong communication, analytical thinking, collaboration, self-direction, and stakeholder management skills; ability to work remotely during Eastern Standard Hours and travel occasionally within the U.S.
