Description

  • Provide live support for incoming member calls and answer questions about Foodsmart services, eligibility, and benefits.
  • Assist members with registration, appointment scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellation.
  • Help members access the Foodsmart platform and affiliate platforms and troubleshoot account issues.
  • Explain the status of food benefits and how members can access them.
  • Document member interactions and ongoing resolutions to support accurate follow-up.
  • Verify eligibility and coverage-provider benefits using internal tools while clearly communicating results to members.
  • Field questions about telenutrition and help match members with the right dietitian and appointment times.
  • Work with internal teams and external partners to resolve questions related to food delivery and grocery ordering.
  • Maintain accountability when handling sensitive and protected information, including PII and PHI.
  • Collaborate with peers, leaders, and other internal groups to solve complex problems accurately.

Requirements

  • Experience working in a support role, either in person or on live calls.
  • Ability to communicate complex information concisely in writing.
  • Experience working with sensitive and protected information, including PII and PHI.
  • Basic understanding of HIPAA.
  • Reliable high-speed internet with minimum speeds of roughly 100 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload.
  • A completely private, secure, and quiet workspace.
  • Flexible availability, with a preference for 11:30am-8:00 PM PST.
  • Ability to manage multiple ongoing tasks without missing deadlines or cutoffs.
  • Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing, with the ability to adapt communication style to the situation.
  • Experience navigating knowledge bases and multiple systems simultaneously while on live calls.

Benefits
