Description

  • Run presales discovery calls and workshops to identify security gaps, threat exposure, and compliance obligations.
  • Design technically accurate and commercially sound cyber security proposals.
  • Position appropriate cyber solutions such as MDR, EDR, SOC, vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, email security, and identity protection.
  • Present cyber security solutions confidently to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Work with Business Development Managers and Account Managers to scope, design, and present solutions to prospects and existing customers.
  • Own the technical narrative throughout the sales process and support deal closure.
  • Support the wider sales team as part of the presales centre of excellence.
  • Mentor less experienced presales colleagues as the team scales.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in a cyber security presales, consultancy, or technical advisory role.
  • Experience within an MSP or MSSP environment is ideally preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work comfortably with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft 365 and Defender suite.
  • Knowledge of security awareness training and key compliance frameworks such as Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001, or PCI DSS.
  • Based in the UK Midlands or South.
  • Comfortable with regular travel to customers and company offices.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, or CySA+ are a bonus.
  • Knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK framework is a bonus.
