Description

  • Hire, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Solution Engineers.
  • Build technical depth and consultative selling skills within the team.
  • Set clear performance expectations and career development paths.
  • Partner with Sales to qualify opportunities and improve deal quality.
  • Lead technical discovery, solution design, and validation for customer needs and use cases.
  • Deliver high-quality, tailored product demonstrations, proofs-of-concept, and technical presentations.
  • Identify product-market fit gaps and communicate them to Product with timelines or decisions on future functionality.
  • Support smooth handoff from pre-sales to implementation by defining expectations, scope, and transition processes.
  • Work with Sales Enablement, Sales Leadership, RevOps, and Finance to refine targeting strategy and resource allocation.
  • Develop playbooks, tools, reusable assets, demo environments, and solution templates to improve efficiency and consistency.

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or a similar pre-sales technical role in a SaaS environment.
  • 3–5+ years of people management experience leading technical or pre-sales teams.
  • Experience supporting complex, multi-product sales cycles across multiple customer segments.
  • Strong ability to partner with Sales, Product, and post-sales teams.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS architectures, integrations, and enterprise workflows.
  • Experience with CMMS/CAFM platforms or facilities-related solutions is a plus.
  • Familiarity with modern demo tools, data environments, and solution design methodologies.
  • Ability to quickly learn and evangelize new technologies and product capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 20–40% for customer engagements, team collaboration, and industry events.
