Description

  • Design, develop, and operate automated, resilient, highly available, self-healing, and secure platforms.
  • Manage the OpenTelemetry observability backend stack, including Grafana Enterprise, Mimir, Loki, Tempo, and Alertmanager on Kubernetes/RKE2.
  • Build infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD automation using Terraform, Ansible AWX, ArgoCD, Helm, and GitLab CI/CD.
  • Develop Prometheus and OpenTelemetry exporter profiles for network devices, REST APIs, and cloud providers.
  • Develop AIOps capabilities such as anomaly detection, event correlation, synthetic monitoring, and alert-noise reduction.
  • Configure Zabbix auto-discovery and integrate it with Prometheus service discovery.
  • Deploy and secure edge observability stacks across data center sites using GitOps templates.
  • Integrate Alertmanager with ServiceNow for ticket routing, enrichment, auto-closure, and escalation.
  • Maintain platform security through runtime secret injection, mTLS, and Grafana RBAC.
  • Create Grafana dashboards and mentor engineers, lead code reviews, and represent platform engineering in architecture reviews.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of production DevOps or automation experience with Kubernetes/RKE2 or k3s, Helm, systemd, and Docker/containerd.
  • 4+ years configuring and operating the LGTM stack: Grafana, Mimir, Loki, Tempo, and Prometheus.
  • 5+ years of senior-level Python or scripting experience, including exporter development, GitLab pipelines, and REST integrations.
  • 5+ years of GitOps and CI/CD experience with GitLab CI/CD, Terraform, and Ansible; ArgoCD or Flux preferred.
  • 2+ years of AIOps or observability engineering experience with Alertmanager rules, anomaly detection, event correlation, and noise reduction.
  • 5+ years managing Linux, virtual machines, VMware vCenter/VCF, NetApp storage, SNMP, and TCP/IP.
  • 2+ years of secrets-management experience with CyberArk/Conjur, HashiCorp Vault, or equivalent.
  • Experience with ITSM workflows, ServiceNow, release management, escalation policies, and SLA-driven on-call processes preferred.
  • Experience with Boomi, BAS/BMS systems in data center or OT environments, and AWS multi-account architectures preferred.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, reside in an eligible state, and be available for minimal travel.
