Description

  • Act as a physical security subject matter expert and representative for employees, customers, and vendors.
  • Lead project initiatives for the design and construction of physical security environments, standards, and systems.
  • Configure servers, workstations, panels, and other programmable security components.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for physical security system issues.
  • Manage projects, vendors, ticket queues, priorities, and workflow for break/fix, installation, and maintenance work.
  • Design, implement, audit, troubleshoot, and maintain physical security systems.
  • Coordinate with compliance, audit, design, operations, and cross-functional stakeholders on security requirements and risk reduction.
  • Create, maintain, and improve internal processes, workflows, and training documentation.
  • Support incident management, on-call escalation, and status reporting during outages and ongoing projects.
  • Educate teams on risks, vulnerabilities, standards, and security policies.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of relevant technical experience with low voltage systems, access control, CCTV/IP video, and intrusion alarms.
  • 7-10 years of experience programming, implementing, and maintaining access control, CCTV/IP video, and intrusion systems.
  • 7-10 years of experience managing projects and personnel in a multi-location or matrix environment.
  • 7-10 years of experience researching and procuring relevant technologies and labor resources.
  • 7-10 years of experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrified and mechanical locking mechanisms.
  • Ability to read and understand engineered site plans, floor plans, blueprints, and system schematics.
  • Proficiency with Genetec or a similar system architecture; Genetec certification or willingness to complete within 6 months.
  • High competency in networking, switch configuration, firewall principles, RS485, and Ethernet.
  • Proficient knowledge of low voltage security systems, devices, relays, sensors, electronic locking hardware, and mechanical devices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with Change Management and Incident Management processes.
  • Ability to work independently, collaborate in a team, and think clearly under pressure.
  • Preferred: ASIS Certification, Windows Server, Video Management Systems, Visio, CAD, and ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems.
