Description

  • Design, implement, and maintain microservices and APIs using ASP.NET Core and Entity Framework Core.
  • Model relational databases and write high-performance SQL Server queries.
  • Build and integrate messaging and event-driven systems such as Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ, or Kafka.
  • Apply Clean Architecture and Onion Architecture principles to create modular, testable, and maintainable codebases.
  • Own the full software delivery lifecycle, including automated testing, CI/CD, containerization, logging, and telemetry on Azure.
  • Collaborate with product, DevOps, and front-end engineers to deliver solutions end to end.
  • Conduct peer code reviews and mentor junior and mid-level developers.
  • Uphold engineering best practices including SOLID, TDD, and DDD.
  • Diagnose production issues, optimize performance, and improve service reliability and scalability.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional backend experience with .NET 5+ and C#.
  • Deep knowledge of ASP.NET Core, RESTful API design, and Entity Framework Core.
  • Proven experience with SQL databases, including schema design, query optimization, and indexing, preferably SQL Server.
  • Hands-on experience with messaging or event-driven architectures in production.
  • Solid understanding of Clean/Onion Architecture, SOLID principles, and automated unit and integration testing.
  • Practical experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience mentoring or providing technical leadership.
  • Clear written and spoken English, with a proactive communication and ownership mindset.
  • Familiarity with AWS services such as ECS/EKS, Lambda, SQS, or SNS is preferred.
  • Previous experience in logistics or mobility domains is preferred.
  • Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL data stores is preferred.
  • Conversational Arabic is preferred.
  • Scripting or tooling experience in Python is preferred.
  • Front-end exposure with Angular is preferred.
  • DevOps/SRE experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, Pulumi, or observability stacks is preferred.
  • Familiarity with CQRS, Event Sourcing, Domain-Driven Design, or high-throughput real-time systems is preferred.
