Description

  • Build and maintain the web application, including dashboards, workflow screens, and admin/configuration interfaces.
  • Deliver responsive, accessible, and polished UI with consistent patterns and performance-conscious interactions.
  • Implement interactive data experiences such as charts, tables, filters, drilldowns, and exports.
  • Integrate with REST APIs and external services, including authentication flows, request/response mapping, retries, timeouts, and error handling.
  • Contribute to API design patterns, including consistency, pagination, versioning, idempotency, and rate-limit awareness.
  • Build and maintain integration-heavy workflows, including webhooks, event-driven patterns, and background processing where applicable.
  • Support platform hardening across auditability, reliability, security posture, and operational readiness.
  • Contribute to data layer evolution and migration planning, including schema thinking, integrity, and performance considerations.
  • Support cloud migration readiness across environment management, secrets, deployments, and observability basics.
  • Assist with edge/security tooling such as Cloudflare or equivalent where relevant.

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years of engineering experience or equivalent capability.
  • Strong React experience shipping SaaS product UI such as dashboards and workflows.
  • Strong JavaScript experience with ES6+ and professional engineering practices, including Git, pull requests, and code reviews.
  • Experience integrating REST APIs in production with JWT/OAuth-style auth, loading and error states, retries, timeouts, and defensive programming.
  • Solid UI engineering skills, including componentization, responsive CSS, and UI consistency/polish.
  • Backend fundamentals with the ability to read and write server code, reason about data models, and collaborate on API contracts.
  • TypeScript experience, or strong willingness to work in a TypeScript migration.
  • Experience with a modern backend runtime such as Node.js/Express, or something similar.
  • Database competence with SQL fundamentals, PostgreSQL preferred, schema/index basics, query performance awareness, and familiarity with MongoDB/document modeling concepts.
  • Experience with data-fetching patterns such as React Query or TanStack Query, or equivalent.
  • Testing discipline with unit/integration testing; Playwright or Cypress is a bonus.
  • CI/CD familiarity and experience working with separate dev, stage, and prod environments.
  • Cloud exposure with AWS or Azure, including deployments, secrets, and basic networking concepts.
  • Observability awareness, including logging, metrics, tracing, and debugging production issues.
  • Experience with Cloudflare or similar edge/security controls is a plus.
  • Experience with NoSQL-to-SQL migrations, such as MongoDB to PostgreSQL, is preferred.
  • Experience with data-heavy applications, analytics, reporting, or admin tooling is preferred.
  • Familiarity with multi-tenant SaaS patterns, including tenant isolation and tenancy-aware auth, is a plus.
  • Docker fundamentals are a plus.
