Description

  • Translate corporate strategy, portfolio priorities, and platform objectives into operating plans, budgets, staffing plans, and measurable business objectives.
  • Lead execution of high-priority strategic initiatives, including financing, out-licensing, and in-licensing.
  • Track progress against strategic and operational priorities and provide reporting, metrics, and executive insights for decision-making.
  • Serve as the operational hub across the executive team and between Etiome and Flagship.
  • Prepare leadership discussions, drive follow-through on decisions, resolve bottlenecks, and align priorities across functions and external partners.
  • Build operating rhythms that improve planning, communication, execution, and organizational accountability.
  • Support financing, business development, partnering, and licensing activities by coordinating cross-functional workstreams and developing analyses and presentation materials.
  • Bring structure, urgency, and operational discipline to strategic transactions and external collaborations.
  • Act as a trusted thought partner to the CEO and help solve problems proactively.
  • Balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced business degree preferred.
  • 7–12+ years of experience in strategy, business operations, corporate development, executive operations, management consulting, or related leadership roles.
  • Experience in biotech, life sciences, or other innovation-driven industries preferred.
  • Demonstrated success translating strategy into operational plans and leading complex cross-functional initiatives from concept through execution.
  • Experience partnering with senior executives and influencing stakeholders across all levels of an organization.
  • Strong financial and business acumen, including experience with planning, budgeting, executive reporting, and strategic decision-making.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and project leadership skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Experience supporting financing, business development, partnering, or in-licensing/out-licensing activities preferred.
  • Experience working directly with a CEO or executive leadership team in a high-growth company preferred.

  • Salary range of $217,000 to $275,000.
