Description

  • Manage end-to-end import processes in compliance with Saudi local laws and regulations.
  • Oversee seaport operations and clear freight through land border customs.
  • Apply Incoterms 2020 to minimize risk and optimize shipping costs.
  • Resolve customs delays, duty disputes, and documentation discrepancies with authorities.
  • Coordinate logistics with sales, procurement, and legal teams in a matrix organization.
  • Maintain tracking dashboards and shipment visibility for regional stakeholders.
  • Ensure regional operations adhere to international trade compliance policies.
  • Travel across the Middle East to audit vendors and resolve operational bottlenecks.
  • Build relationships with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and port authorities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in logistics and international trade.
  • Proven track record working within an international or matrix corporate structure.
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
  • Expert knowledge of Saudi Customs systems, including Fasah and ZATCA.
  • Deep understanding of sea freight documentation, including Bill of Lading, COO, and Commercial Invoice.
  • Advanced mastery of global Incoterms.
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken.
  • Valid passport and willingness to travel frequently within the Middle East region.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to handle high-pressure port environments.
