Description

  • Design and evolve central data entities, metrics, and products with testing, lineage, and documentation.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines, onboard new sources end to end, and support migrations.
  • Maintain CI/CD processes and data-quality checks.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand business processes, define needs, and connect data initiatives to business value and cost.
  • Support recurring reporting, regulatory and audit cycles, reconciliations, and business data requests.
  • Integrate and evaluate LLM-based steps for classification, extraction, translation, aggregation, and unstructured-data preparation.
  • Expose the semantic layer to internal tools and agents through MCP and APIs in partnership with engineering.
  • Prepare reproducible, traceable certified data for agentic tools, company AI systems, and external recipients.
  • Own domain roadmaps, make scope and design decisions, and mentor others in semantic-layer and analytics-engineering practices.

Requirements

  • Expert SQL and strong dimensional or semantic data-modeling skills.
  • Working Python skills, including testing and version control.
  • Experience building metrics and semantic layers.
  • ETL and data warehouse or lakehouse experience, including end-to-end source onboarding.
  • Hands-on production experience using LLMs for data work such as classification, extraction, translation, or user-facing agents.
  • Ability to consult with business stakeholders, improve processes, and frame solutions in terms of business value.
  • Experience with Databricks and Unity Catalog (preferred).
  • Experience with or understanding of MCP, tool calling, tracing, and evaluations for LLM applications and agents (preferred).
  • Experience with workflow automation tools such as n8n, CI/CD, orchestration, or infrastructure as code (preferred).
  • Background in fintech, banking, or other high-volume operational environments (preferred).
