Description

  • Manage daily remote operations, troubleshooting, and incident resolution for the Linear Generator fleet.
  • Help design, implement, and operate real-time fleet monitoring and communication platforms.
  • Analyze and report fleet availability, performance, and connectivity for Service, Engineering, Sales, customers, and regulators.
  • Report NERC compliance metrics and maintain adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and communicate opportunities to improve fleet performance and reliability.
  • Document operational issues, root causes, and resolutions.
  • Develop and deploy internal tools to automate reporting and operational workflows.
  • Coordinate scheduled and reactive service events with the Operations & Maintenance team.
  • Collaborate with quality, reliability, product validation, test engineering, and software teams.
  • Help identify, onboard, and train new team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline, preferably Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Strong engineering fundamentals applied to large-scale physical systems.
  • Experience with system-level engineering analysis and troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, controls, and software components.
  • Ability to resolve complex issues and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Experience building disciplined operational and training processes, including workflow documentation, handoffs, and incident analysis.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience analyzing engineering data, including time-series data and dashboard development using cloud-based or industry-standard tools.
  • Interest and ability to develop automated software tools and processes; Python is preferred.
  • Clear, methodical communication and documentation skills.
