Description

  • Provide first-line IT support through Jira Service Management and Slack, resolving requests within SLAs and keeping employees informed.
  • Troubleshoot Windows and macOS hardware, operating system, software, peripheral, and network issues remotely.
  • Manage device enrollment, compliance, software installation, and updates in JumpCloud MDM.
  • Support onboarding, offboarding, access requests, password resets, MFA, SSO, and least-privilege access practices.
  • Administer employee-facing tools including Jira, Confluence, Slack, Notion, Google Workspace, and Torii.
  • Maintain accurate JSM request types, workflows, ticket notes, and knowledge base articles.
  • Identify recurring issues and propose documentation, scripts, process improvements, or automation.
  • Support DORA, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 compliance activities by following procedures and maintaining records.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in IT support, service desk, or a similar user-facing technical role.
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting Windows and macOS devices, including hardware, operating systems, applications, peripherals, and connectivity.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate clearly with non-technical colleagues under pressure.
  • Experience with an ITSM or ticketing platform, ideally Jira Service Management, and working to SLAs.
  • Working knowledge of Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 user administration.
  • Familiarity with an MDM such as JumpCloud MDM, Intune, or Jamf, and an identity provider such as JumpCloud, Okta, or Entra ID.
  • Experience with everyday enrollment, password reset, MFA, and SSO support tasks.
  • Strong written documentation skills for ticket notes and knowledge base articles.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Basic PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripting; AI troubleshooting tools; security/compliance frameworks; Torii; meeting-room AV; or experience in fast-growing or regulated companies (preferred).
