Description

  • Provide first-line IT support through Jira Service Management and Slack, resolving requests within SLAs and keeping employees informed.
  • Troubleshoot Windows and macOS hardware, operating system, software, peripheral, and network issues remotely.
  • Manage device enrollment, compliance, software installation, and updates in JumpCloud MDM.
  • Support employee onboarding, offboarding, access requests, SSO issues, and least-privilege access practices across JumpCloud, Google Workspace, and Torii.
  • Administer user-level settings for Jira, Confluence, Slack, and Notion.
  • Maintain accurate JSM request types, knowledge base articles, workflows, ticket notes, and support documentation.
  • Identify recurring support issues and propose knowledge articles, scripts, process improvements, or automation.
  • Support DORA, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 compliance activities by following procedures and maintaining records.
  • Escalate complex incidents with clear documentation of troubleshooting completed.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in IT support, service desk, or a similar user-facing technical role.
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting Windows and macOS devices, including hardware, operating systems, applications, peripherals, and network connectivity.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, including the ability to support non-technical colleagues under time pressure.
  • Experience using an ITSM or ticketing tool and working to SLAs; Jira Service Management is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 user administration.
  • Familiarity with an MDM such as JumpCloud MDM, Intune, or Jamf, and an identity provider such as JumpCloud, Okta, or Entra ID.
  • Experience handling device enrollment, password resets, MFA, and SSO issues.
  • Strong written documentation skills for ticket notes and knowledge base articles.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Basic PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripting; AI-assisted troubleshooting; exposure to ISO 27001, DORA, SOC 2, Torii, meeting-room AV, or fast-growing/regulated environments are preferred.
