Description

  • Own the end-to-end technical delivery of regulatory reporting, including pipelines, data models, formats, quality checks, releases, and dependencies.
  • Run recurring monthly and quarterly regulatory reports and data extractions accurately and on schedule.
  • Update existing reports and develop new reports as regulatory requirements evolve.
  • Build and maintain pipelines, governed datasets, and semantic models on the lakehouse.
  • Generate external report formats, including XML, and support report submissions.
  • Establish business checks, data quality standards, and alerting to identify issues before reports are released.
  • Partner with Business Analysts and Report Owners on requirements templates, data standards, and engineering data contracts.
  • Enable self-service access to reporting datasets for the Regulatory Reporting team.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or technical analytics.
  • Expert-level SQL skills.
  • Working Python skills, including generating files in formats such as XML.
  • Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and working with a data warehouse or lakehouse.
  • Ability to translate technical requirements into working reports and update existing reporting solutions.
  • Ability to serve as the technical point of contact across teams and coordinate dependent work.
  • Strong focus on precision and ownership of end-to-end data processes.
  • Regulatory or external reporting experience (preferred).
  • Experience with XML schemas, report exports, or integrations with external recipients (preferred).
  • Experience with dbt, Databricks, Spark, or regulated industries such as fintech, banking, insurance, investments, trading, or government (preferred).
