Description

  • Lead, build, develop, and coach an international team of engineers on a daily basis.
  • Own and further develop internal tooling for cloud governance, security detection and automation, and IT management.
  • Set the technical standard for the team and drive engineering best practices.
  • Build features with a build-it, run-it mindset, including testing, deploying, and monitoring code.
  • Maintain and improve internal tooling, cloud governance, and security capabilities.
  • Own disaster recovery and incident response efforts when needed.
  • Coordinate and drive company-wide technical projects such as migrations and patching.
  • Collaborate with the wider organization to help teams work efficiently and securely.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a similar field.
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience on larger projects.
  • 2+ years of experience building and leading a team of software engineers in a fast-paced development environment.
  • Experience with platform or security engineering practices.
  • Hands-on experience with disaster recovery and incident response efforts is preferred.
  • Ability to own and drive company-wide technical projects from a coordinator role.
  • Solid knowledge of TypeScript, Python, or Go, with the ability to code and review code without AI if needed.
  • Deep knowledge of AWS or GCP, with willingness to learn the other quickly.
  • Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
