Description

  • Build and maintain secure, scalable full-stack web applications using Next.js, React, TypeScript, Node, and PostgreSQL on Supabase.
  • Own features end-to-end from user interface through database design and implementation.
  • Design and implement business logic close to the data layer using PostgreSQL functions, views, triggers, Row-Level Security, and Supabase Edge Functions.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools and agent frameworks to scaffold, refactor, and automate engineering workflows.
  • Embed security best practices across development, including secure coding, dependency management, authentication, authorization, and data protection.
  • Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate customer needs into intuitive features and roadmap input.
  • Design and optimize API contracts, edge endpoints, event flows, and scalable multi-region application architecture.
  • Model and optimize PostgreSQL data for large multi-tenant workloads, including indexing, query performance, and partitioning.
  • Support testing, CI/CD, migrations, vulnerability scanning, observability, and performance tuning across the delivery lifecycle.
  • Mentor peers through code reviews and guidance while helping improve full-stack, data-centric, and AI-native engineering practices.

Requirements

  • Senior full-stack engineering experience building and shipping production web applications.
  • Strong experience with Next.js/React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and a Node-based backend.
  • Regular use of AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Devin, or GitHub Copilot, with judgment to verify outputs.
  • Strong backend and data modeling skills in PostgreSQL; experience with Supabase Auth, RLS, Edge Functions, and migrations is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of secure web application development, authentication/authorization, and modern security best practices.
  • Familiarity with software supply chain security, or a willingness to learn quickly.
  • Experience deploying and operating applications in the cloud, ideally AWS.
  • Working knowledge of Docker, CI/CD, and modern managed or serverless platforms.
  • Product-minded, collaborative, and able to communicate clearly in a remote cross-functional team.
  • Experience with Redis, Kubernetes, Python, or modern agent frameworks is a plus.

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary of $227,000-$270,000 in Tier 1 locations or $181,000-$216,000 in Tier 2 locations.
  • Eligible for equity in addition to base pay.
