Description

  • Build and maintain secure, scalable full-stack web applications using Next.js, TypeScript, Node, and PostgreSQL/Supabase.
  • Own features end-to-end, from UI implementation through database design and delivery.
  • Design database-centric application logic using Postgres functions, views, triggers, RLS, and Supabase Edge Functions.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools and agent frameworks to scaffold, refactor, and automate engineering workflows.
  • Embed security best practices across coding, dependencies, authentication, authorization, and data protection.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and security researchers to shape features and align with threat models.
  • Design and optimize API contracts, edge endpoints, and event flows with performance, resiliency, and multi-region scaling in mind.
  • Model, index, and optimize PostgreSQL data for large multi-tenant workloads and rapid growth.
  • Support automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, database migrations, and vulnerability scanning.
  • Provide code reviews, mentorship, and guidance to raise engineering quality and security standards.

Requirements

  • Senior full-stack engineering experience building and shipping production web apps with Next.js/React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and a Node-based backend.
  • Regular use of AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Copilot, Devin, or similar.
  • Strong backend and data modeling skills in PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with Supabase, including Auth, RLS, Edge Functions, and migrations, or similar Postgres-based platforms is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of secure web application development and authentication/authorization best practices.
  • Familiarity with software supply chain security or willingness to learn quickly.
  • Experience deploying and operating applications in the cloud, ideally AWS.
  • Working knowledge of Docker, CI/CD, and modern managed or serverless platforms.
  • Product-minded, collaborative, and able to communicate clearly in a remote, cross-functional team.
  • Experience with testing and maintainability is expected.
  • Python is part of the broader tech stack.
  • Experience with Redis, Kubernetes, Trivy, and Snyk may be relevant based on the stack.

  • Competitive base salary of $227,000–$270,000 in Tier 1 locations or $181,000–$216,000 in all other locations.
