Description

  • Hire, mentor, and develop engineers to help them perform at a high level and grow in their careers.
  • Partner with Product to clarify goals, measure success, and remove blockers so the team delivers customer value.
  • Own sustainable delivery by planning proactively, communicating clearly, and keeping projects on track.
  • Refine team processes and champion modern engineering practices that improve the technical bar.
  • Lead system reliability efforts across the platform.
  • Drive execution of platform projects in collaboration with product managers and development engineering teams.
  • Build and maintain a high-performing, autonomous engineering team.
  • Support continuous improvement through feedback collection and process refinement.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional software engineering or infrastructure management experience, including team leadership.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • SRE, FedRAMP, and security-minded leadership experience.
  • Proven ability to build engaged, autonomous teams that achieve ambitious goals.
  • Experience with the software development lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform, or eagerness to learn quickly.
  • Familiarity with incident management processes and workflows.
  • Passion for continuous learning, clear communication, and cross-functional collaboration in a hybrid environment.
