Description

  • Actively contribute to technical work by reviewing and debugging code to unblock engineers and accelerate delivery.
  • Author and own technical design documents for major platform changes, integrations, and architectural decisions.
  • Lead architecture reviews for new features, customizations, and integrations to ensure scalability and maintainability.
  • Set development standards for SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, custom records, and integration approaches.
  • Own and improve the software development lifecycle from requirements intake through release and post-release monitoring.
  • Mature the CI/CD pipeline using SuiteCloud Development Framework and GitHub Actions across QA, staging, and production.
  • Establish incident response practices, including on-call expectations, severity classification, root cause analysis, and post-mortems.
  • Manage the engineering project portfolio and coordinate priorities, dependencies, scope, timelines, and resources.
  • Partner with business and engineering stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions and communicate trade-offs.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the NetSuite engineering team through hiring, onboarding, feedback, and career development.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of NetSuite experience, including at least 3 years in engineering management or a senior technical lead role.
  • In-depth knowledge of NetSuite modules including GL, Order to Cash, Inventory, AP, AR, Billing, Purchasing, Revenue Recognition, and Asset Management.
  • Deep expertise in NetSuite OneWorld, including multi-subsidiary setup, intercompany framework, global financial consolidation, and cross-subsidiary order fulfillment.
  • Strong understanding of business processes such as Engineering Change Orders and Transfer Order Processing.
  • Proficiency in NetSuite configuration, customization, and scripting.
  • Knowledge of system integrations and data migration.
  • Familiarity with PLM systems such as Arena and middleware/integration platforms connecting NetSuite with systems like PLM and Salesforce.
  • Experience writing production-quality code, reviewing complex scripts, and authoring technical design documents.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development, Jira, and Git.
  • NetSuite certifications such as SuiteFoundation, Administrator, or other relevant certifications are preferred.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Experience managing and growing engineering teams.
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills for presenting technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
