Description

  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair Lucid Motors vehicles.
  • Repair basic and major mechanical issues and perform basic electrical and mechanical diagnosis.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of high-voltage, low-voltage, and electric vehicle systems.
  • Document repair orders and customer vehicle interactions accurately using the required software suite.
  • Communicate and collaborate with service advisors, managers, other team members, and customers.
  • Share knowledge and help teach technical skills to others.
  • Support remote and mobile service work as needed.
  • Deliver positive client experiences through attention to detail.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience as an automotive service technician, including EV/HEV diagnosis and repair.
  • Knowledge of high-voltage systems, low-voltage systems, and electric vehicle powertrains.
  • Customer-facing experience with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office and learn proprietary DMS software.
  • EPA 609 certification.
  • ASE certifications expected within 6-8 months of hire date; Lucid will reimburse the cost upon successful completion.
  • Willingness to complete Lucid-provided CPR training after hire.
  • Valid driver’s license with no suspensions in the past year.
  • Drivers under 21 must have held a driver’s license for at least 3 years and complete Lucid training upon hire.
  • Preferred ASE certifications: A4, A5, A6, A7, A8, L3, and L4 (ADAS).
  • Preferred experience in luxury automobile repair environments.
