Description

  • Administer GitLab Self-Managed and Dedicated environments, including installation, upgrades, backup and recovery, access management, runners, Geo replication, and performance tuning.
  • Lead enterprise migrations to GitLab from GitHub, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and SVN using Congregate and direct transfer methods.
  • Deploy GitLab reference architectures for enterprise customers.
  • Design, optimize, and troubleshoot enterprise CI/CD pipelines with integrated SAST, DAST, dependency, and container scanning.
  • Configure and roll out GitLab Duo Agent Platform (DAP) agents and flows to support AI-assisted development workflows.
  • Advise customers on GitLab Duo governance, adoption, and secure DevSecOps practices.
  • Deliver customer workshops, documentation, knowledge transfer, cutovers, and secure-environment deployments.
  • Scope, estimate, and deliver work on schedule under GitLab-managed statements of work.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of hands-on DevOps or platform engineering experience.
  • Production experience administering GitLab Self-Managed or Dedicated environments.
  • Experience designing, operating, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines at enterprise scale.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance held directly at the time of application; candidates without an active clearance will not be considered.
  • Strong written and verbal customer-facing communication skills, including leading customer meetings and working within defined scopes.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites, workshops, cutovers, and secure facilities as needed.
  • Active GitLab Certified Associate, Professional, or Services Engineer certification (preferred).
  • Production experience with Kubernetes and Terraform (preferred).
  • Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure in a DevSecOps context (preferred).
  • Experience supporting federal, defense, or intelligence community programs; GitLab Duo, DAP, agentic AI, security scanning, STIG compliance, or cATO frameworks is preferred.
