Description

  • Design, plan, and oversee complex network implementations for sports and entertainment venues.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to executive, management, and technical audiences.
  • Represent Extreme Networks at trade shows, seminars, industry events, and customer briefings.
  • Analyze customer requirements and architect solutions that position Extreme products against competitors.
  • Demonstrate products and explain their technical differentiation and competitive advantages.
  • Manage complex customer engagements while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Support, and Product teams to ensure project delivery.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in live enterprise customer environments.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in network engineering, systems design, or pre-sales.
  • Expert knowledge of 802.11 Wi-Fi technologies and wireless network design.
  • Strong experience with wired, wireless, security, Layer 2/3, and enterprise networking technologies.
  • Experience with Ekahau, Hamina, NetScout, or equivalent network toolsets.
  • Strong network and systems security design, implementation, and analysis knowledge.
  • Proven troubleshooting, problem-solving, customer influence, and competitive displacement skills.
  • Excellent technical communication and presentation abilities; able to work independently and cross-functionally.
  • Willingness to travel up to 60% within the assigned region.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Wireless certifications such as CWTS, CWNA, CWDP, or CWAP; Extreme Networks and sports or venue networking experience preferred.
