Description

  • Support the sales account executive team in a pre-sales capacity for a regional territory.
  • Assist with the design, planning, implementation, and training for Extreme Networks architecture and secure network solutions.
  • Travel to customer sites to present proof-of-concepts and support solution demonstrations.
  • Provide consultative pre-sales support to partners and customers on Extreme Networks solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver customer presentations to audiences at all management levels.
  • Present at trade shows, seminars, and internal demonstration facilities.
  • Provide educational training on leading-edge technologies and Extreme Networks products to pre-sales teams.
  • Help analyze customer needs and position Extreme Networks solutions effectively.
  • Manage complex customer interactions, set expectations, and maintain customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • 8-10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Expert knowledge of networking technologies and regional competitive network industry experience.
  • Proven ability to influence new customer decisions and displace competitors.
  • Thorough knowledge of security design features and ability to implement and analyze network and systems security design.
  • Hands-on experience with security-related toolsets.
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-resolution skills in a network environment.
  • Ability to understand and analyze customer requirements and position solutions effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal, technical presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel within the region up to 60%.
  • B.S. in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Network certifications desired.
  • In-depth knowledge of two or more networking technologies, such as NAC, IDS/IPS, convergence, wireless, WAN, IPv4/IPv6 routing protocols, or Layer 2 switching.
