Description

  • Define and drive an innovative machine learning vision across products and platforms.
  • Lead the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including design, testing, deployment, and operations.
  • Write production-ready machine learning code for a real-time ML platform.
  • Extend existing machine learning libraries and frameworks.
  • Work with engineers and scientists to speed up model development, validation, experimentation, and production integration.
  • Build and integrate models and algorithms into large-scale production systems.
  • Mentor and develop engineers while establishing technical direction and team culture.
  • Maintain high standards for technical rigor, operational excellence, reliability, and scalability.
  • Champion operational and process improvements.

Requirements

  • 12 to 18 years of experience overall.
  • 12+ years of experience in the complete software development lifecycle.
  • 7+ years of programming experience with proficiency in Python or Java.
  • 5+ years of experience leading the design and architecture of large distributed systems, preferably on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with distributed data and ML technologies such as MapReduce, Spark, Flink, Kafka, PySpark, and SageMaker.
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team lead.
  • Degree in mathematics, computer science, or a related discipline.
  • MS or PhD in Computer Science, or equivalent ML experience, preferred.
  • Experience working with real-world large-scale datasets, preferred.
  • Prior experience delivering end-to-end ML solutions, including data preparation, training, fine-tuning, and deployment of large models, preferred.
  • Prior experience developing ML optimization techniques in PyTorch and CUDA, preferred.
  • Ability to tackle highly complex, ambiguous, or undefined problems.
