Description

  • Design and ship secure MCP connectors to Extend’s internal systems and third-party SaaS tools.
  • Build and curate a shared library of agent skills used across the company.
  • Extend the agent infrastructure to support secure, reliable creation, review, publishing, and feedback loops for reusable tooling.
  • Develop toward a connector-building agent that can discover APIs, scaffold MCP servers, and provision access automatically.
  • Establish credential scoping, OpenTelemetry instrumentation, and least-privilege patterns with platform teams.
  • Own the employee experience for the agentic platform, including onboarding guides and adoption feedback loops.
  • Design credential vending and rotation for agent connectors, including per-user, per-skill, and per-connector scoping.
  • Build the risk-tier, review, sandboxing, and dependency-scanning model for shared agent skills.
  • Instrument the agent platform end to end so every MCP call, skill execution, and credential use is visible in Coralogix.

Requirements

  • 5 or more years of experience shipping production systems.
  • Proficiency in at least one of Python, TypeScript/Node, or Rust.
  • Experience building developer tooling, platforms, SDKs, or internal frameworks used by other engineers.
  • Experience building production third-party integrations, including OAuth flows, credential scoping, webhooks, pagination, rate limiting, and retry semantics.
  • Comfort working on AWS, including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, and managed agent runtimes.
  • Experience making complex systems usable by non-experts through DevX work or internal tools.
  • Direct experience with Claude Code, MCP, or another agent framework such as LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, or OpenAI Agents SDK.
  • Familiarity with using agent harnesses/orchestrators for complex coding tasks and building new agents.
  • Experience with production credential management, including OAuth 2.0/OIDC, API key vending, secret rotation, and least-privilege scoping.
  • Strong AWS security fundamentals, including IAM, KMS, Lambda surface area, and serverless attack patterns.
  • Experience with AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or similar infrastructure-as-code, preferred.
  • Experience with OpenTelemetry, Coralogix, or similar observability tooling, preferred.
  • Background in platform engineering, internal developer platforms, or enterprise integration, preferred.
  • Prior IC experience at an early-stage startup with a small team and wide surface area, preferred.
  • Experience with LLM application security, including OWASP LLM Top 10, prompt injection defense, and agent sandboxing, preferred.
  • Background in supply chain security, dependency scanning, or SBOM tooling, preferred.
