Description

  • Serve as an on-site clinical expert and operational resource for community leadership and wellness teams.
  • Provide hands-on support with resident assessments, care planning, medication management, staffing, documentation, and clinical decision-making.
  • Temporarily assume Director of Health & Wellness or Director of Memory Care duties during vacancies, onboarding periods, leaves, or operational surges.
  • Support move-ins, transfers, and care level evaluations when requested.
  • Address resident and family concerns related to care delivery, clinical decisions, and transitions.
  • Deliver training and coaching to Health & Wellness leaders and team members on ESL standards, policies, and best practices.
  • Support onboarding of new Directors of Health & Wellness through mentoring and real-time guidance.
  • Promote survey readiness, resident rights, infection control, documentation standards, medication administration, and clinical workflows.
  • Participate in clinical audits, site visits, operational reviews, and corrective action planning.
  • Partner with ancillary providers, divisional leaders, and executive directors to support resident outcomes and deployment priorities.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) preferred; LPN/LVN may be considered with significant senior living leadership experience.
  • At least 3 years of clinical leadership experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior living health care operations; multi-site or regional experience preferred.
  • Active, unrestricted nursing license in each assigned state, or ability to obtain one.
  • Strong knowledge of assisted living regulations, clinical compliance, assessments, medication management, and quality assurance.
  • Ability to travel 100% of the time, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Sherpa, UKG, OnShift, and SharePoint preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving standards.
  • Experience in senior living leadership across multiple sites or regions is preferred.
