Description

  • Design and develop solutions for complex application and integration challenges.
  • Oversee operations and support cloud tenancy environments.
  • Participate in customer Scrum/Kanban ceremonies and team activities.
  • Collaborate with customer Ops, Development, and QA teams to solve DevOps problems.
  • Document and build CI/CD pipelines.
  • Document and build infrastructure as code.
  • Work with Docker and Kubernetes to create and schedule containers for deployments.
  • Automate builds and deployments across multi-platform environments.
  • Document technology decisions, best practices, and process flow.
  • Coach and mentor customers and teams to work more efficiently.

Requirements

  • Intermediate to advanced Red Hat OpenShift experience.
  • Strong background with version control systems such as SVN and Git.
  • Experience managing continuous integration systems such as Jenkins or Hudson.
  • Experience with automated configuration management and deployment tools such as Puppet, Chef, or SaltStack.
  • Experience developing infrastructure as code, such as with Terraform.
  • Strong experience with cloud-native applications.
  • Background working in a multi-platform environment, including Linux and Windows.
  • Experience with builds and packaging in a Linux/Java environment strongly preferred, including Maven and rpm.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and structured change management processes.
  • Broad programming or scripting experience such as Python, Ruby, or Go.
  • Experience with virtual development environments such as Vagrant is a bonus.
  • Experience with containerization and scheduling tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • A can-do attitude and sense of urgency in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Proven track record of leading implementation of release engineering best practices.
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Curious mindset and willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Ability to think outside the box to resolve issues and create solutions.
