Description

  • Install full Evolv systems on customer sites, including site preparation, equipment setup, configuration, and validation.
  • Train operators and administrators, adapting delivery to different customer verticals and environments.
  • Provide on-site go-live support, troubleshoot minor issues, and confirm readiness before handoff.
  • Support channel partner certification and training for deployment and operator readiness.
  • Conduct site surveys, pilots, demos, and proof-of-concept activities as part of pre-sales support.
  • Create or contribute to ConOps documents and other pre-sales or deployment documentation.
  • Own small deployments independently and serve as onsite lead for larger deployments when needed.
  • Complete post-deployment QA checklists, hand off notes to Customer Success/Support, and follow Evolv standards.
  • Resolve basic installation and configuration issues, including connectivity and setup validation.
  • Work closely with sales, deployment, and customer teams to ensure smooth implementation and customer success.

Requirements

  • Willingness to travel extensively, with more than 70% of time on the road and typically 3–5 days away from home per week.
  • Availability to work some nights and weekends during customer peak event times.
  • Ability to lift and position equipment, including loading and unloading from trucks and using liftgates.
  • Ability to stand and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods, including 12–15 hour shifts when required.
  • Professional Service Technician certifications on all Evolv Express generations and Expedite, or ability to achieve them quickly.
  • Professional Certification covering core presales activities and documentation standards, or ability to earn it within the role.
  • Experience supporting system installations, troubleshooting, training, or field deployments.
  • Ability to run site surveys independently and support pre-sales tasks such as pilots, demos, and PoCs.
  • Preferred location in the Norfolk, VA metro area; candidates in Virginia with access to major transportation hubs are preferred.
