Description

  • Own and execute the holistic content strategy across all brand channels (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Meta Ads, Website, Email, Retail Screens, CTV, and more).
  • Architect and operationalize a content studio—establishing processes, pipelines, playbooks, and team structure.
  • Hire, manage, and mentor in-house creators, editors, and freelancers while overseeing all stages of content production from concept through delivery.
  • Develop and evolve the cross-functional content calendar in collaboration with Brand, Growth, and Product teams.
  • Lead and grow the YouTube presence with original episodic content, brand storytelling, creator collaborations, and SEO-optimized publishing.
  • Oversee scripting, shooting, editing, publishing, and performance analysis for all video content and ensure quality control across outputs.
  • Build systems for ideation and testing that optimize for watch time, retention, engagement, and subscriber growth.
  • Collaborate with Growth and Paid Media teams to adapt organic content into high-performing paid assets and define creative testing frameworks.
  • Define KPIs for organic and paid content, report on performance with actionable insights, and maintain a test-and-learn culture focused on storytelling and audience value.

Requirements

  • 5–10+ years of content strategy and production experience, ideally at a DTC or high-growth consumer brand.
  • Deep YouTube expertise including algorithms, formats, retention tactics, community building, and monetization.
  • Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary creative teams and content production workflows (in-house and freelance).
  • Demonstrated ability to build scalable creative systems and content operations (processes, pipelines, playbooks).
  • Experience overseeing end-to-end video production: scripting, shooting, editing, publishing, and performance analysis.
  • Ability to translate brand positioning and strategy into assets that drive performance and customer loyalty.
  • Strong communication, creative thinking, and collaborative, low-ego leadership style.
  • Track record of using trends, audience feedback, and platform changes to evolve content roadmaps and testing strategies.
  • Preferred: background in journalism, video production, or performance marketing; experience with a fast-growing YouTube channel or content-first brand; experience in CPG or wellness; familiarity with paid content strategy and creative testing; experience building a content studio or video-first brand.
