Description

  • Design, develop, and support software solutions for the critical event management platform and related web and mobile applications.
  • Translate user requirements into functional implementations with attention to scalability and performance.
  • Collaborate with product management, QA, technical operations, and cross-functional leads to deliver projects on time.
  • Build robust, high-volume, scalable applications that meet performance and reliability standards.
  • Design and implement microservices architectures that are modular, maintainable, and extensible.
  • Define and implement automated tests to improve software quality and development speed.
  • Build and maintain applications and infrastructure running in AWS using cloud-native best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and team standards.
  • Contribute as a scrum team member and technical leader to ensure high-quality project delivery.
  • Design, implement, and optimize data pipelines and analytics solutions using Snowflake and Looker.
  • Develop and maintain scalable, event-driven architectures using Kafka or similar messaging systems.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field plus 5 years of software engineering experience.
  • Proven ability in database schema design.
  • Experience with CI/CD principles and tools, Agile, and Scrum.
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL solutions such as MongoDB and Postgres.
  • Proven ability to build microservices using Java and Spring.
  • Proven ability to write scalable multi-threaded Java applications.
  • Proven ability to work independently or within a team.
  • Telecommuting permitted.
  • 10% domestic travel required.

Benefits

  • Remote work permitted.
  • Salary range of $175,427 to $206,570.
