Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, high-performance backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Build and evolve RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems for business-critical workflows.
  • Collaborate with frontend, product, QA, and platform engineering teams on end-to-end product delivery.
  • Use AI-assisted tools for coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and code reviews.
  • Drive observability, reliability, automation, monitoring, incident response, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
  • Participate in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and engineering best-practice initiatives.
  • Support production systems through on-call participation, incident management, and continuous service improvements.
  • Mentor engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience developing enterprise-grade applications.
  • Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
  • Experience building cloud-native backend systems with RESTful APIs, microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, performance, reliability, and secure software design.
  • Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms.
  • Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and modern DevOps practices.
  • Experience with AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, Windsurf, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to validate and improve AI-generated code while maintaining quality, security, and maintainability.
  • Experience with observability, monitoring, production support, and Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
  • Preferred: frontend development, AI-enabled applications or agents, developer tooling, and automation workflows.
