Description

  • Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Python.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver new features.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues.
  • Work with cloud-based database services, data transformation tools, and orchestration tools such as Snowflake, dbt, and Airflow.
  • Use AWS services such as S3, Lambda, and Glue to support application needs.
  • Manage containerization and orchestration with Docker and Amazon EKS.
  • Implement infrastructure as code with Terraform and support monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Python Developer or Engineer.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and frameworks such as Django or Flask.
  • Experience with RESTful API design and development.
  • Knowledge of database systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  • Understanding of software development best practices, including testing and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Preferred: experience in Life Science Clinical Trial software technology.
