Description

  • Build and maintain Etera’s React Native mobile app using Expo and TypeScript, including booking flows, real-time updates, and multilingual Arabic/English experiences.
  • Design and extend TypeScript backend services for booking APIs, supplier integrations, and webhook orchestration.
  • Develop, tune, and maintain AI/LLM pipelines within the OPUS Prime multi-agent system for travel intent detection, QA, and automated engineering reports.
  • Take features from specification to production and own the full lifecycle from architecture through implementation, testing, and deployment.
  • Maintain infrastructure and reliability across Firebase Auth, EAS Build/TestFlight pipelines, and CI/CD workflows.
  • Participate in security audits and peer review as part of a small, high-trust engineering team.
  • Build and operate autonomous agent teams, including defining scope, wiring tools, managing inter-agent communication, and maintaining ongoing reliability.
  • Design evaluation criteria, validate agent output quality, and iterate on agent behavior based on production results.
  • Connect AI agent systems to real product surfaces such as APIs, mobile interfaces, and backend workflows.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional fullstack engineering experience, including meaningful production work in mobile.
  • Strong React Native experience with shipped apps, build pipelines, and authentication flows.
  • TypeScript experience across the entire stack, including mobile, backend, and agent tooling; this is non-negotiable.
  • Hands-on experience with LLM APIs such as Anthropic, OpenAI, or equivalent, including prompt engineering, tool/function calling, and multi-turn context management.
  • Experience using Claude Code, Codex, or similar agentic coding tools to boost engineering throughput.
  • Production experience with Mastra as an agent orchestration framework, including workflows, tool definitions, agent memory, and inter-agent coordination.
  • Working knowledge of LangChain, including chains, retrieval, tool use, memory backends, and integration into live backend services.
  • Ability to operate as a full engineering team member across frontend, backend, and AI layers.
  • Comfort working in a lean startup environment with fast cycles, high ownership, and minimal process overhead.
  • Strong written English; Arabic or German is a plus.
  • Preferred: Prior work with GDS/NDC/travel supplier APIs such as Amadeus, Sabre, PKfare, or RateHawk.
  • Preferred: Experience building multi-agent AI systems or autonomous workflow orchestration.
  • Preferred: Experience with Voice AI agents such as Ultravox, Vapi, or ElevenLabs.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with DIFC or UAE regulatory context for SaaS or fintech products.
  • Preferred: Background in security auditing or static code analysis tooling.
