Description

  • Develop and deploy sales and marketing strategies with clients and prospects.
  • Manage overall client relationships to drive profitability, client satisfaction, and organic growth.
  • Achieve annual new business sales goals within the target market.
  • Use discovery and conceptual presentations to position EPIC’s solutions and competitive differentiation.
  • Collaborate with leaders to assemble the right team for prospect presentations, including subject matter experts and account management staff.
  • Identify and overcome sales obstacles on a prospect-specific basis.
  • Apply market, carrier, and product knowledge to support strategic thinking and innovation.
  • Pursue cross-selling opportunities across EPIC practices to strengthen prospect and client relationships.
  • Work collaboratively with support teams locally and nationally.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in insurance brokerage sales or related B2B sales.
  • Experience calling on senior executives and demonstrating a track record of financial success.
  • A current professional insurance license.
  • Strong understanding of a specialty area such as Property & Casualty, Employee Benefits, Risk Management, Private Client, or another insurance vertical.
  • Executive presence with superior written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong network/center of influence with visibility in the relevant market.
  • A consultative, positive, and resourceful approach with prospects, clients, and associates.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with excellent listening skills and a strong customer focus.
  • Nice to have: experience in EPIC’s target market of companies and familiarity with technical and financial considerations in insurance solutions.
