Description

  • Process applications, policies, endorsements, binders, certificates, audits, and related client servicing items accurately and on time.
  • Assist clients with policy coverage, exclusions, coverage changes, and other insurance-related questions.
  • Service client accounts under the oversight of Producers or Account Executives, including research, analysis, and routine policy adjustments.
  • Manage the renewal process, including exposure analysis, market comparisons, quote evaluation, proposal preparation, and binder review.
  • Negotiate premium and commission rates with underwriters and wholesalers on behalf of clients and EPIC.
  • Prepare presentations, proposals, and other technical support materials for producers, account executives, and sales meetings.
  • Maintain client files, billing, workflow logs, and documentation in the agency management system.
  • Provide prompt responses to client issues and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, wholesalers, vendors, and coworkers.
  • Support the sales team by determining marketing strategy, submitting applications with supporting documentation, and following up on quotes and policies.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing tasks, resolving problems, and delivering timely service.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in a mid-size brokerage or carrier.
  • Fire and Casualty Broker License required.
  • Full knowledge of property and casualty lines of coverage and services.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Windows, spreadsheets, database, and presentation software.
  • Experience with agency management systems, rating procedures, coverages, and industry operations.
  • Ability to work remote from the U.S. during Pacific Time Zone working hours.
  • Ability to handle multiple competing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • High level of poise, tact, diplomacy, attention to detail, and time management skills.
